I spoke to a tutor about my concept and design ideas. We agreed that the concept was working well (the boxes thing) but I need to come up with a stronger title/heading/name for the exhibition. I have decided on using the phrase Brand New Talent for the overall heading and 'Fresh out of the box' for the theme - represented in the concept. These mock-ups below are of the front of the private view invitation.
I have organised an opportunity to photograph a range of boxes in different shapes, sizes and numbers. I will then manipulate the type onto the boxes using photoshop. This will mean that I can use a range of set-ups, and see which works best within the pieces I am producing.
